Terms and Conditions

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload (“User Content”).

4.2 License to Us

By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content solely for operating and promoting the Platform.

4.3 Responsibility

You are fully responsible for your User Content and confirm that:

• You own or have rights to all content uploaded
• The content does not infringe intellectual property rights
• The content is accurate and truthful

Subscription and Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, depending on the package selected) and will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the next renewal date.

By subscribing, you authorise The Job Edit to charge your selected payment method for all recurring subscription fees until your subscription is cancelled.

Customer Responsibility

It is the responsibility of the subscriber to manage and cancel their subscription before the next billing date if they do not wish for it to renew. Failure to cancel before the renewal date will result in the next subscription payment being processed.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account (where available) or by contacting The Job Edit using the contact details provided on our website.

Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to your subscription benefits until the end of that period. No further payments will be taken unless your subscription is renewed or reactivated.

Cooling-Off Rights

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

However, if you expressly request immediate access to The Job Edit’s digital services during the 14-day cancellation period, you acknowledge that your right to cancel may be lost or reduced once the service has been fully or partially provided, in accordance with applicable law.

This clause does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

Refund Policy

Subscription payments are non-refundable once processed, including where a subscription renews because it was not cancelled before the renewal date, except where required by applicable law.

Refunds will not be provided for partial subscription periods, unused features or changes in business circumstances.

Failed or Declined Payments

If a subscription payment cannot be processed for any reason, including insufficient funds, expired payment methods or payment provider errors, The Job Edit reserves the right to retry the payment.

If payment remains unsuccessful, we may suspend access to subscription features, remove or unpublish active job listings and/or terminate the subscription until payment has been successfully received.

Suspension or Termination

The Job Edit reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account or subscription where:

• Subscription fees remain unpaid.
• These Terms and Conditions have been breached.
• Fraudulent, misleading or unlawful activity is suspected.
• The platform is used in a manner that may damage The Job Edit, its users or its reputation.

Termination under this clause may occur without refund where permitted by law.

Subscription Pricing

The Job Edit reserves the right to amend subscription prices at any time.

Existing subscribers will receive reasonable notice before any price increase takes effect. If you continue your subscription after the effective date of the new pricing, you will be deemed to have accepted the revised subscription fee.

Payment Terms

All subscription fees are payable in advance.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable.

The Job Edit accepts payment through approved payment providers. You are responsible for ensuring your payment details remain accurate and up to date.

Minimum Subscription Term

Unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase, subscriptions are provided on a rolling monthly basis and may be cancelled at any time in accordance with these Terms.

Where a discounted package requires a minimum commitment, this will be clearly stated before purchase. Early cancellation of fixed-term subscriptions will not entitle the subscriber to a refund unless required by law.

Fair Use

Where subscription packages include limits on job advertisements, applications, candidate searches, downloads or other platform features, those limits apply throughout the subscription period.

Any attempt to misuse, manipulate or circumvent subscription limits may result in suspension or termination of the account without refund.

Expiry of Subscription

If a subscription expires or is cancelled:

• Premium employer features will no longer be available.
• Active job advertisements included within the subscription may be unpublished or removed.
• Candidate management features may become restricted.

The Job Edit is not responsible for any loss resulting from the expiry or cancellation of a subscription.

Changes to Subscription Features

The Job Edit may improve, modify, add or remove features within subscription packages to maintain and enhance the platform.

Where changes materially affect your subscription, we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice.

Promotional Offers and Free Trials

From time to time, The Job Edit may offer promotional pricing or free trial subscriptions.

Unless otherwise stated, free trials will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Promotional offers are available for the stated promotional period only and may not be combined with any other offer unless expressly stated.
